Why "Kiwis Edge LLC" Chosen as Company Name

"Kiwis Edge" is a deliberate pun about NZ's place in this world, by those who call ourselves "Kiwis" - see Kiwi Expat Association, and N.Z. Edge by Kevin Roberts, Saatchi & Saatchi CEO.

New Zealand on a world map is often shown as being on the very edge, but know we also have an "edge" in other ways: after all NZ did take the "America's Cup" against better funded teams!

Thanks to our down-to-earth upbringing, practical "hands-on" approach to problem-solving, and New Zealand's uniformly high level of education, we Kiwis consistently "punch above our weight" in endeavors that call for our combination of intelligence, creativity, and practical abilities.


After our global careers in NZ, UK, UAE plus TX, CO, PA, DC, we are now back in Houston. Bob was born and educated in New Zealand, and first emigrated to the US in 1972 and then again in 1990. Diane was born in Galveston, and went with "FisherFolk" worship team to U.K. from 1973-76. Bob and Diane got married in 1977. We, along with our two kids Meagan and Colin, lived in New Zealand from 1982-90.
